Silver Fox Spirit Totem Bracelet by DaybreaksDawn Silver Fox Spirit Totem Bracelet by DaybreaksDawn

The Silver Fox Spirit Bracelet was made for those who have a special connection with nature, wildlife, the fox, or just want to wear something a little different. This beautiful bracelet is composed of serpentine and amethyst gemstone beads, silver-tone pewter leaf and pinecone beads, a glass bottle charm filled with naturally shed Silver Fox fur, and a pewter fox charm.

My inspiration for the general appearance of this bracelet was slightly inspired by the "fox and grapes" story, as you may have guessed. :giggle:

The fox fur contained within the bottle charm was collected from a beautiful female Silver Fox during her natural spring shedding process. No animals were harmed in the gathering of this naturally shed fur.

Bracelet measures approximately 7 and one half inches, not including the clasp.

Again, NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED in the creation of this bracelet. The Silver Fox fur was naturally shed and groomed from a vixen (named Sniglet) that resides at an animal sanctuary I support.

If you would like to purchase this bracelet or any of my other work, please go to… while it is still available!

Please Note:

These bracelets are signature jewelry, which means they have a few special markings on them that only I know how to place on my own handmade jewelry. They are small, faint, and hidden, so are not noticeable unless one looks very hard and does not mistake them for natural markings. These ensure that nobody else can copy my design and make counterfeit bracelets. So please do not try. Thanks!

OMG this is beautiful XD Wish the regulations weren't so strict over here, otherwise I'd buy one :icontakemymoneyplz::iconfoxxdplz:

Are regulations in NZ similar to those in Australia? Because I have sent many jewelry pieces to Australia without any problems. Also, my grandfather regularly sends mineralogical samples to NZ without any trouble.

What does NZ consider shed fur to be, anyway? In the US, shed fur is considered a fiber, like sheep wool.

Oh, if you've been able to import to Aussie, then you should be fine. But, I'm not a big expert on import regulations here, and I also know that foxes and snakes are a big no-no here in NZ. Like, they're very strict on those two particular animals, not even the zoos are allowed to keep them, but I'm not sure if that extends to their fur/scales. I know snakeskin isn't allowed, except in certain situations, and I'm not entirely sure about foxes. All I'm saying is that it may differ between the two countries as Australia already has foxes, albeit introduced ones, while NZ has none, and they're very strict about foxes, and probably fox fur:( Maybe I should just wait until I move back to Australia anyway, which is very soon, hopefully ^_^ Sorry to bother you!
Your works are very beautiful nonetheless :) I would really love to have one, so much :iconmonkeyloveplz:

I'll check NZ's customs regulations myself, just to be certain of them. (I do this with all the countries I ship to, anyway.)

I also asked a DA friend from NZ if she would like to do a shipping test with me, to see if my jewelry will pass customs. If she agrees, and the jewelry passes, then you'll be set to go. :)

If the jewelry doesn't pass customs, then you can, of course, order it after you move. :)

And you are no bother at all. XD
